The SaRPVI is a registration mechanism established by the Energy Commission of Sabah (ECoS) designed to regulate companies engaged in solar leasing, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) (excluding LSS), and other solar photovoltaic (PV) investment activities in Sabah.
The programme ensures that only financially capable, technically competent, and credible companies participate in Sabah’s PV investment landscape, providing a secure environment for consumers and investors alike.
All applications, including registration and renewals, are processed electronically via the ECoS Energy Information System (EEISy) portal to ensure a streamlined and transparent process.
