The Energy Commission of Sabah believes that inculcating a culture of safety and health in its employees is key to the Commission's success.
Therefore, the management and staff are committed to working in synergy, guided by the following priorities: -
- Provide and maintain a safe and healthy workplace and work practices with continuous improvement.
- To educate its employees and others who may be affected by its activities through appropriate information, instruction, training and monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and associated regulations, and other relevant legislation and codes of practice.
- Review of the policy whenever deemed necessary.
